At INDUENERGY we have the ideal space for your business to grow and flourish, in the heart of the Colombian petro-energy corridor in Santa Marta.
The goal of INTEROILCO is to complement the existing pipeline network in Colombia by providing the system with a viable and economical tool that supports the profitable development of exploration and exploitation projects of oil deposits in the Colombian territory.
Successfully satisfy the demand for logistics solutions in the oil sector.
Facilitate access to international markets and facilitate the import to Colombia of naphtha and oil derivatives.
Provide a private and open property designed to alleviate the challenges of present-day ground transport.
Serve the producers who do not have access to existing pipelines.
Provide the feasibility of assessing measurable returns to producers faced with production problems, given the uncertainty and logistical problems of ground transport.
The objective of INTERGASCO is to eventually replace the natural gas source of the Chuchupa Field (currently in a declining process) by providing the existing gas pipeline network with a solution that allows it to be used in an economic, sustainable and efficient way.
INTERGASCO will have a floating unit for the storage and regasification of liquefied natural gas. Once the regasification process has been completed, natural gas will flow into the Ballenas-Barranquilla pipeline via the INDUENERGY Petro- Energy Industrial Park. This will allow the gas to be delivered at the point of interconnection of this same Industrial Park. Correspondingly, the thermoelectric plants of the North Energy Node, totaling 2.522 MW, would benefit from this resource as well.
The natural gas delivered by INTERGASCO into the Ballenas-Barranquilla pipeline is the most reliable and long- term supply to industrial consumers in Colombia.
At the end of 2018, the country's proven reserves of natural gas were only 4,024 giga cubic feet, while the commercialized production was 360 giga cubic feet per year, according to data from the National Hydrocarbons Agency.
The Northern Energy Node (NENCOL) projects consist of power project generating plants that use dual fuel (natural gas and diesel number 2). This project will be developed in INDUENERGY as follows:
TERMO BONDA - NENCOL II. 94MW (Fully permitted)
Sales off reactive energy to renewable projects and Firm Energy Obligations (FEO).
TERMO COSTA - NENCOL III. 94 MW (Fully permitted)
Sales off reactive energy to renewable projects and Firm Energy Obligations (FEO).
TERMO GAIRA - NENCOL IV. 94 MW (Fully permitted)
Sales off reactive energy to renewable projects and Firm Energy Obligations (FEO).
TERMO INDUENERGY - NENCOL V. 2,240 MW (In process)
Sales off reactive energy to renewable projects and Firm Energy Obligations (FEO).
MARTASOL PROJECT <9.9 MW
Solar farm with 35,000 solar panels located in an area of 18.0 hectares.
NENCOL intends to be the only power generator capable of guaranteeing Firm Energy Obligations (FEO) to the entire Colombian electricity sector and to contracted FEO entities. By achieving this, the NEN will allow these power generators to mitigate any FEO event, guaranteeing no sanctions for any faults.
NENCOL intends to be the sole backup provider for Firm Energy Obligations for the Colombian energy sector, offering real and tangible support that provides a reinforced backbone to hydroelectric plants and thermal generators, and not through a contract with the Government.
NENCOL location allows direct importation of fuel without depending on Ecopetrol or other local suppliers, a factor that would not affect Ecopetrol's basket or energy dependence.
NENCOL will be able to use dual fuel (imported liquid fuel and natural gas) from local suppliers (if and when available) to guarantee 100% reliability in deliveries of Firm Energy Obligations. Moreover, NENCOL will be operated by global leading companies in operations and maintenance.
NENCOL constitute power projects up to 2,522 MW to guarantee and support the FEOs contracted under the secondary market (around 14% of installed thermal capacity in Colombia).
NENCOL projects will have double exits of interconnection to the Colombian energy system via the SE Río Córdoba (220KV) and the SE El Copey or SE Sabanalarga 500KV line respectively.
MARTAGUA will be the only potable water source that is 100% reliable for the city of Santa Marta and its surroundings.
MARTAGUA will consist of a saltwater desalination unit installed at the INDUENERGY Petro-Energy Industrial Park, capable of processing up to 150,000 tons per day (40,000,000 gallons per day). This unit will be connected to the Santa Marta aqueduct, ensuring that all residents of the city enjoy this indispensable resource for the performance of their daily activities.
The water will be delivered to the Santa Marta aqueduct via Essmar or its designee, as the basis for a reliable, long-term supply agreement that will serve as a guarantee to the consumers of Santa Marta.
The problem of the shortage of water in the city of Santa Marta is a necessity of high importance, considering that this situation has led to the declaration of the state of national emergency in recent years.
